FROM GALLERIA VITTORIO EMANUELE II TO BRERA DISTRICT
This tour is for people who want to live the atmosphere of nineteenth-century Milan on the track of Manzoni and Hayez. It starts from the Galleria that has many stories to tell, when the famous cafès were meeting places for Scala's musicians and for many artists and writers. From Piazza della Scala it reaches the house where Manzoni lived, now a house-museum and the church of San Fedele (inside) where the writer went. Then it wanders around the characteristic Brera district enlivened by the students of the Accademia, the art galleries and the antique shops.
